Review: Captain America

Captain America vs. Hydra is a 2014 lego set that retails for 19.99 in the U.S. and 24.99 in Canada. I picked this up at my local Target. While I don't usually buy sets that aren't on sale I had to get this right away since I'm a big Captain America fan. There were no flaws in this set and there is good selection of olive green bits.
Box art.

A fair selection of extra bits but overall what you would expect.

Very,very nice motorcycle.

Captain america, Hydra guard and the red skull. All are based more off the cartoons than the movie, this is especially evident in the Hydra guard. If you change his head he makes a good soldier. If you change the red skulls face he makes a good German officer except for the Hydra head on his buckle.

SCDRU Armored car.

The Mk. IV wolverine armored amphibious transport is a highly versatile armored car developed by the SCDRU for use in the full scale assault and capture of strategic positions. It's high speed, quiet engine and low silhouette make it a top choice for scouts that are establishing a perimeter defense for the rest of the troops. It's heavy armor and amphibious quality's make it an excellent landing craft able to put four heavily equipped troops on land in a matter of minutes.
The basic variant of the wolverine. It has a 105 mm mortar for use
in destroying defensive positions such as pillboxes.

Top of the line targeting software and autopilot means one
man can do the work of  four.

Turret and top armor removed for use as landing vehicle.

Camouflaged for use in suburban warfare.

Hovercar.

After seeing several lego hovercars I knew that was the next thing on my to-do list. As complicated as it might look this build was actually very easy and quick.
Just a SCDRU official on his way to work.

WWII armored car.

This armored car is one of my favorite builds. It is not a specific armored car but is rather a compilation of a couple of armored cars from that era.
The stickers are from an Iron Man set. I thought they would add a nice touch.

The green rectangle shows it is part of the Canadian 4th armored division. Look it up.

Mongoose

I know that the last thing the Internet needs is another Mongoose, but I couldn't resist. Since it's just a small ATV it didn't take long and the results look great.
One dumb looking Spartan, no Marines and no weapons.
